Starting in June of 2022, i began to show our MAs in an effort to better understand the qualities that are sought after in the pursuit of dogs that exhibit correct breed standard.

Little did i know about the amazing world of the purebred dog "fancy", along with the fantastic people who are involved in it.

i am continually amazed at what can be learned, and how generous people can be in the sharing of it.

best of all, i've found a whole other new way to interact and further enhance my relationship with my beloved dogs. as we continue to learn and challenge ourselves, it promises to bring us better outcomes in the breeding of physically and mentally sound and beautiful dogs going forward.

Maverick learned at the age of 2 years how to be a show dog. he brought his enthusiasm into the ring, happy to be joining me in an activity that gave him one-on-one time with me. we're proud to say that he gained his ckc championship
